Many people ask … how can we as Children of God be successful? “Aren’t we suppose to bare the worst to obtain the best?” “God doesn’t want us to be successful, he wants us to suffer daily.”

WRONG!

God has a plan for you, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

How can we see this and still have no FAITH that God wants great things for us … and from us!

Many find themselves lacking motivation (1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”) Procrastination is like telling God, “I believe in you, but I just think right now is the time… ” “Lord I want to do your will, but first I need proof you will not FAIL ME.”  Any of these sound like you? No more, from this day forth, through Christ Jesus, I will share with you God’s motivational words … So we can all be part of the Godly Boss Girl Revolution!!!

Who’s teaching our girls Part 1

20180506_201315

“Train up a child in the way they should go,  and when they are old,  they will not depart from it,”  Proverbs 22:6

In a world where we are constantly taught the loudest,  most vulgar person gets the prize,  we are teaching our girls to become ignorant acting,  giving more attention to the volume of one voice verses the content that comes from it.   When one is growing up watching shows like “Love and Hip hop” “Housewives” of various cities.. .. How do we expect them to know any different then the content on television if no one is teaching them.  And many times the issue is the children have no-one to teach them because their parent were never taught themselves…   Thus startin a vicious cycle.  To do better,  you have  to first know better. . If no one ever told you that your actions were wrong,  or taught you to find worth inside yourself, to aid in your ability to build yourself up each day and not depend on  the opinion of other around you, then how would you know this behavior?  Being confident and leaning on yourself is a taught action,  learning to be your own biggest fan is a learned trait. … Knowing your worth and not allowing someone else or the enemy to make you think otherwise is a learned trait.  So if all these strong characteristics are leared,  then who is teaching them ?????? As a mother there are many ways we can encourage our daughters,  sisters,  nieces …  Telling them daily how beautiful they are,  how smart they are. … Building up her ability to fight this world and the unseen spiritual war we fight each day.

Many times as girls,  we are intimidated by the next girl. .. So instead of building her up,  we tear her down.  Instead of supporting her,  we belittle her growth. .. Instead of sharing positive vibes,  we send out negativity….  Again all this is learned traits,  we are not born to dislike the girl sitting beside uS in class because she is too smart,  too fat or skinny,   her hair is different or she’s too popular. ..  Again there are learned actions.. So now the question you have to ask is. .

1) as the adult: are these actions you have displayed around a young girl,  are these traits yours?

2) as the girl: are there traits your’s?  Where did you learn them?

God our Protector

pen

So many times we feel overwhelmed by life, we get so wrapped up in the daily grind that we don’t realize all the things God keeps from harming us.  Many of them we will never know.  However I was reminded of, Isaiah 54:17   “no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.”

The other Sunday when I opened my dryer, and wrapped in the second dress shirt I pulled out, was a pen.  The pen had busted, and I knew right then several of my “work” attire and the children’s school clothes would be ruined.  So I began to pull them out one by one, and if you know me you know I had the dryer full of clothing, so I continued to retrieve each piece, and inspect it for the slightest marking.  To my amazement, each piece I retrieved was stain free, only on a couple pairs of dark pants were there any marks on the inside, none showing on the outside.  And I thought to myself, BUT GOD, and it brought me to this…

Many days we go through our day, giving little honor or glory to God, however like the pen the enemy is seeking out where to make his mark.  And when you allow God into your life he will make the cycle much easier and safer, so that even if there is a mark of remembrance from the trials, they are only light marks where no one can see them.  So as you go through your day today, shine bright knowing that God is all around you, protecting you from all the tricks the enemy has for you.  Praise him, even when you don’t see the pen, when the enemy is behind the scene trying to build up strife and anxiety, Praise God for the things you know nothing about, Praise him for bringing you through the last cycle with no marks and no stains… just clean and renewed.

Discovering God’s will for your life

As women we all want to be successful and live a great life, however as Godly women we know that to have all we desire and much more, our relationship with God must come first … Because the most important thing you can do for your business is to build it with Jesus. I pray that these tips can help you along your way in the development of your business.

8 ways to help you discover God’s will for your life.

The number 1 step in discovering God’s will for your life, is to begin your walk with him, this means developing a close intimate relationship with HIM.  You have to learn to walk with him, you must seek to know him, not know about him. But to truly know who God is, developing the spirit to be able to hear God’s voice when he is speaking to you.  Ways to develop such a loving, intimate relationship is by spending time in his word and in his presence, spend time in in prayer, in worship and just sitting still and listening.  You have to learn to trust, develop the faith necessary to live daily without regret, worry.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge HIM, and He shall direct our path.”  -Proverbs 3: 5-6

The next step is to completely surrender your life, yourself to the Lord, begin with a prayer :

Heavenly Father, I come today to say thank you for giving your life for me, and on today I surrender all that is of me and of the world to your will Lord, I am completely yours to mold and direct in your will and in your ways, Lord. For it is in your will that I want to live, and to prosper, Lord. Thank you for all the opportunities afford to me, and thank you Lord for entering my life. Its in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Complete surrendering is not simply saying a prayer, its a total overhaul of one’s mine, body and heart … It is the complete surrender of who we once were to what God wants us to be.

The beginning: how I got to where I am today …

So I woke from a great night sleep, back in 2015, with a confused expression… trying to delve back into my dream, to get some clarity on what God had put in my mind. The picture may not have been clear, but the message was…. God is about to change up everything you thought you wanted, thought you knew about your career … God is about to turn some things around! So I spoke about it to various people in my life (my husband and sister in law **Bestie) … I shared the vision… I shared what I seen me doing, and them .. we discussed it in great length. However it would be the following year before we seen what he truly had for us!

Fast forward a year … May 2016! I’m at work like any other day, 8-5p, Mon.-Fri.  .. when I was shown an opportunity.. and you know us, we over think things .. it didn’t seem exactly right .. so I didn’t jump… so a couple weeks later, boom, there it was again, except this time it was wrapped a little prettier .. it appeared to be more what I would want … but I still was hesitant. I called, schedule the interview… spoke with the owners, and signed up for the training class…. **STEP OF FAITH**

Following the class, I began working … quit my full time regular job … stepped out in complete FAITH! But the enemy thought he dig in for a bit, I dealt with turmoil the entire summer, yet looking back, my family was always taken care of! Praise God! Then it all worked out, I seen the light … I felt the passions God laid on my spirit .. I worked into the Lord …. Until!!!

Until I allowed outside voices to cloud my ability to hear what God had to say … so I again turmoiled through companies that stold money, lied and misrepresented themselves … finally I stepped back and again let God lead … and boom, just like before he placed me where I needed to be!

I had landed at a great company, with the prospect of growth … I enjoyed this .. trying to get my focus back on what God had laid out for me to accomplish… And again … the voices clouded, priorities got mixed up … and God allowed me to see what it would be like to not have him, to handle it all on my own. And boy did I make a mess!

So again I sat at the foot of the Lord and cried out for vindication, redemption… most importantly Forgiveness … I begged the Lord to lead again …

And I’m anxious to see his vision.. and to feel the fire down in my soul to serve and worship and work unto him!!!

What are you asking for?

What was your last prayer? Did you pray for a husband…  job…  car…  house..  financial stability?

Now that God has blessed you with your desire…  how many times have you complained about how difficult it is..  how you want more?

My marriage is hard… My car is old..  I need a bigger house…  I need more money!

We need to learn to be settled and happy in our place..  in our season..  giving praise and worship to the Lord for All he has done! Being grateful for the blessings from God!

Choose your words wisely…  Speak blessings into your life..  Keep negativity away!

Your words have so much power in them, when spoken positively over your situation, they can change your situation for your good.  However, when spoken from a broken down, negative heart, then they can be detrimental to your future.  We must ensure we have God first in all things we do in out lives, from the moment ours eyes are blessed to be opened to the time he allows us to rest again.

So you want change …. you want something better … you want a breakthrough!

Begin by getting into God’s word, building a strong relationship with him, and changing the way you speak on your situation… you want a new job, speak as though you have already received it  .. you want to start a new business, pray , and speak as though you have already received it.

OUR WORDS ARE VERY POWERFUL!

“For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. ”                                            1 Peter 3:10

The Attitude of a leader

“Good leaders cultivate honest speech; they love advisors who tell them the truth. ”

                                      Proverbs 16:13

Speaking on being a leader; at work, church, as a parent, at school .  YOU must set the right tone by maintaining the right attitude.

Characteristics of a great Godly leader include maintaining the right attitude: one that’s realistic, optimistic, forward thinking, and most important Christy centered.

Remember to always set a Godly example!!!

Be blessed!

Misplaced Priorities

Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Misplaced Priorities: When we fail to give thanks properly to our Lord and Savior, we suffer because of our misplaced priorities.  When we fail to spend time with our father because of the “hustle and bustle,” of the daily world.  These are misplaced priorities, when watching your favorite television show becomes more important then studying the word of God, when sleep and fatigue from the hustle and bustle takes away from your time with the Lord.  THESE ARE MISPLACED PRIORITIES! When he becomes an option instead of a necessity, when his word is saved for Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, this is when we must reevaluate our priorities.

**Make a list of all the blessings God has done for you, I know you can’t list them all, but list the ones you can think of and give thanks or them.  This is a beginning, the great thing about God is he is always waiting for you to return to him.

In Romans 8:35, ” What will separate you from the love of Christ?” what will keep you from spending time with him? When will he become a priority? Because you can’t just run to him and use him when times are rough, he wants you all the time.  He wants to hear about your awesome day, as much as he wants to hear about the hurt and pain.

Who do you work for?

Throughout our lives we are taught to “WORK HARD” to get what we want out of life.  Now part of that is true, life does take “hard” work in the form of moves and diligence, however it all begins with out relationship with Christ. If you have no relationship then what are you ultimately working for? Worldly possessions that will eventually give out on you, rust, break down …. when you could be putting that same attitude and drive into a relationship with the most high, and in the end you will not only have the peace and joy daily with knowing who you serve, but you will have the eternal life in heaven with our Lord and Savior.

This sounds simply right? Well in truth it is, having a relationship with the Lord is simple, and worth it.  But this world and the enemy roaming around in it, makes it seem like an impossible task, do you often think. ” I am so busy, I will wait until tomorrow to read my word.”  So what makes us so “BUSY?”

Our job?  Many times we run around for a “boss” (even if the boss is ourselves), yet we wont sit for a moment and read the work God gave us.  What if when you got a new job, one you had never performed before, the company gave you a step by step instructions to how to be successful, how to get ahead, inside secrets, even future events to look out for.  They told you of enemies to look out for, and how to out smart them.  Would you read this book?  “YES” right? Because no one starts a job without knowing a job descriptions, and what is expected of them … right!! So why would we not take time to read the manual God wrote for us, it reveals what is necessary to reach heaven, what he expects of us, how he rewards us, how to be forgiven when we make mistakes, what the enemy is after and even what he may use against you.  He tells us of what is to come, so we can tell others and be prepared ourselves.  So why do we push off bible study, church… Why is it so simple to allow ourselves to be separated from the only one who wants to see us happy every single day, no change.

Our Family? Many of us women (and some men) work all day and have a demanding family to take care of.  So we rush home from our job, to fix dinner, help with homework and clean up. By the end we are tired and ready to drop … so we say “Lord, tomorrow I will read, tomorrow I will start that outreach, tomorrow I will ….. Yet when we lay down we pray for safety for our families … what if God said “tomorrow I will …”  But he doesn’t ..

God wants you to have all that, but he wants time with you too.

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.”

Colossians 3:23-24

Remember the first step to becoming successful in life is to first seek the Lord, developing a strong, personal relationship with HIM, and allowing him to work in our lives.  In the beginning of any business its not a snap of the finger type situation, its truly a growing pain situation.  We must let go of old ways, and develop new ones.  We must move and act with differently (not better, just different, because we are no longer of the world).
